Clause 1

1. Service Overview

"We provide the tools to build and host your site. You provide the heart and the content."

Official Legal Specification

PTA.AI grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the platform for official school organization purposes. We manage the rendering, auditing, and deployment infrastructure as described in our service specifications.

2. Ownership & Rights

"You own your logos, photos, and words. We own the software and templates that make them look great."

Official Legal Specification

Customer retains all rights, title, and interest in and to all 'Customer Content'. PTA.AI retains all rights to the platform, source code, underlying templates, and deterministic rendering technology. Usage of the platform does not transfer intellectual property rights of the underlying software to the customer.

3. AI Support & Ethics

"Our AI helps you answer questions and organize. It's smart, but it's not a lawyer or a principal. You're responsible for the final word."

Official Legal Specification

The platform utilizes Large Language Models (LLMs) to provide automated support and content generation. While PTA.AI strives for accuracy, AI-generated content is provided 'as-is'. The Customer is responsible for reviewing and approving all public-facing content generated or suggested by the platform. PTA.AI is not liable for inaccuracies in AI responses.

4. Data Privacy (FERPA/COPPA)

"We take student privacy seriously. We don't sell data, and we follow the rules to keep your school's info safe."

Official Legal Specification

PTA.AI complies with relevant student data privacy regulations, including FERPA and COPPA guidelines. We do not sell student or parent data to third parties. Data collection is limited to what is necessary for the operation of the PTA organization and communication with its members.

5. Billing & Cancellations

"Plans are month-to-month. Cancel anytime, and we'll keep your data safe for 30 days so you can export it."

Official Legal Specification

Fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. Upon termination, customer content will be maintained for a period of 30 days to facilitate data export, after which it may be permanently deleted.

6. Security Responsibility

"We lock the doors, but you need to keep your keys safe. Use a strong password and don't share it."

Official Legal Specification

PTA.AI implements industry-standard security measures. However, Customer is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of account credentials. Any unauthorized access resulting from compromised Customer credentials is the sole responsibility of the Customer.

7. Community Conduct

Official Legal Specification

User agrees not to use the platform to transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable. The platform is designed strictly for educational and community engagement purposes.

Acceptance of Terms

By completing an intake and verified payment, you agree to these terms. We recommend printing a copy for your PTA records.
